Securing America’s Safety, Stability, and Well-Being

By TABI Executive Director, RJ Boatman

As the global landscape continues to shift, the United States must take decisive action to ensure our national security, economic strength, and strategic influence. President Trump has an opportunity to lead with a clear-eyed approach that prioritizes America’s safety and stability while restoring order to the international stage. The recent challenges in Ukraine demand a course correction—one that places American interests first while promoting global security in a way that strengthens our economy, protects our allies, and deters future aggression.

1. Prioritizing Peace Through Strength

America cannot afford endless wars, but we also cannot allow global instability to threaten our security. Instead of being drawn into prolonged conflicts, President Trump must pursue a measured but firm diplomatic strategy that achieves peace on America’s terms.

• Demand Responsible Diplomacy: A negotiated settlement in Ukraine must be built on realistic terms—ones that prevent further escalation and ensure that American resources are not wasted on an unwinnable quagmire. Russia must be held accountable, but America must also avoid being drawn into another war without an endgame.

• Leverage U.S. Power for a Fair Deal: The U.S. should lead diplomatic efforts that force Russia, Ukraine, and European partners to the negotiating table under conditions that protect our security interests. If NATO partners want to see continued U.S. support, they must share the burden and commit to a strategy that leads to long-term regional stability.

2. Strengthening America’s Economy and Energy Independence

America’s economic future must never be compromised by foreign entanglements or reckless spending abroad. Instead of sending blank checks to Ukraine, President Trump should harness strategic economic partnerships that benefit American workers and businesses.

• Secure American Access to Critical Resources: Ukraine’s vast reserves of rare earth minerals and strategic commodities present an opportunity for America to lead in the global economy. Any U.S. support must be tied directly to securing fair trade agreements that protect American industries, create jobs, and reduce dependence on hostile nations like China.

• Prioritize U.S. Energy Dominance: Weak energy policy makes America vulnerable. President Trump must expand U.S. oil, natural gas, and clean energy development to eliminate reliance on foreign adversaries. Ukraine’s energy infrastructure presents an opportunity to create a strategic partnership that strengthens American energy security while reducing Europe’s dependence on Russia.

3. Reaffirming America’s Security and Strategic Dominance

The United States must never bow to global instability or allow foreign conflicts to jeopardize our safety. America must lead, not react.

• Demand NATO Burden-Sharing: The U.S. has carried NATO’s weight for too long. President Trump should make it clear that European allies must pay their fair share and take a larger role in securing their region. American taxpayers should not be footing the bill for a war in Eastern Europe while critical domestic issues go unaddressed.

• Prevent Escalation, Protect American Lives: Any further involvement in Ukraine must be carefully calibrated to ensure that American troops are never put in harm’s way for the sake of foreign interests. No American blood should be spilled over Europe’s miscalculations.

4. Restoring Order and Accountability in Ukraine

Ukraine’s government must be held to the highest standards before receiving continued support. America should not be subsidizing corruption or reckless leadership.

• No Blank Checks, Only Strategic Investments: President Trump must demand accountability from Ukraine’s leadership before sending a single additional dollar. Any aid must be conditioned on real anti-corruption reforms and strict oversight.

• Ensure Religious and Civil Liberties: The suppression of religious freedoms and political dissent in Ukraine cannot be ignored. The U.S. must demand that Ukraine uphold the fundamental rights of its people if it expects continued American backing.

5. Protecting the American People from Global Chaos

At the core of all decisions must be a relentless commitment to American safety and security. President Trump must stand firm in protecting our borders, reinforcing our military, and ensuring that our resources are spent at home before they are sent abroad.

• America First, Always: Every policy decision must be weighed against a simple standard: Does this make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous? If the answer is no, then it’s time to rethink our approach.

• Secure the Homeland Before Securing Foreign Borders: While global stability matters, the greatest threat to America comes from unsecured borders, crime, and economic instability. President Trump must continue prioritizing stronger border security, domestic infrastructure investment, and economic revitalization at home.

Conclusion: A Path Forward That Puts America First

President Trump has the chance to reset the world stage in America’s favor. A bold, unapologetic strategy that prioritizes American strength, security, and economic independence is the only path forward.

It’s time to demand results, hold foreign allies accountable, and ensure that every action taken serves the best interests of the American people.

No more endless wars. No more blank checks. No more globalist games.

America First. America Strong. America Secure.
